Formax^®’s new Ultra26™ forming system gives high volume processors a better way to optimize line performance, reduce maintenance costs and enhance portion control. As the best value in its class, the Ultra26™ fits in the same footprint as the F-26™ and uses all your existing F-26™ tooling. This new forming system produces up to 6,600 lbs per hour at 100 strokes per minute, so there’s little adjustment required to raise your standard of performance.

A wealth of upgrades and improvements keep ownership costs at their lowest. These include a more durable gearbox and enhanced sealing and operational components. For example, a new water cooled double enveloping main reducer and heavy duty knockout and mold plate drive systems have been incorporated into the Ultra26™ design, promising greater reliability, less maintenance and superior performance overall. The main reducer also includes a temperature sensor to monitor the reducer condition and alarm if there is a problem. The mold plate and knockout drive systems are powered by independent direct-coupled servo motors, thereby reducing the number of mechanical components and enhancing system control. A self-contained motorized product conveyor roller further simplifies the machine. Every chain, sprocket, timing belt and pulley has been eliminated to ensure a low cost of ownership.

The machine cabinet has been redesigned with fewer penetrations and enhanced sealing techniques to maintain a clean and dry interior. This helps to prevent premature component failure while improving the overall machine hygiene. A stainless steel hydraulic tank eliminates the potential for tank corrosion.

The large 15” color touch screen offers on screen parts book and schematics to assure ease of operation and troubleshooting. The system also includes a web data server for remote machine monitoring. A unique double sealed swing out electrical enclosure simplifies maintenance by providing easy access to interior machine components.
